ART x SCIENCE

Science communication and public dialogue

EVOLVING LAB combines art and science to responsibly translate psychological research into the public sphere.

Exhibitions, films and interactive formats embed scientific findings in experiential contexts that enable reflection, dialogue and social debate.

The goal is to create spaces where people can not only understand, but also experience and reflect on questions of a fulfilling life.

EVOLVING LAB's Art × Science projects are based on peer-reviewed research and contribute to public understanding on issues of a successful life and good aging.

Why Art x Science

Science not only shapes political decisions and programs, but also societal ideas about what constitutes a good and fulfilling life.

Artistic formats offer unique approaches to these questions by creating spaces where scientific concepts can be experienced beyond purely cognitive approaches.

EVOLVING LAB uses Art × Science formats to contextualize scientific findings, stimulate public discourse, and make visible what psychological concepts such as fulfillment in life, meaning, and aging mean for concrete life.

Cooperation

Art × Science projects are created in collaboration with cultural institutions, exhibition venues, cities, organizations and interdisciplinary teams.

The focus is on questions at the intersection of science, society and lived experience – as well as formats that open up new perspectives on life and aging.

If you are planning a project or developing an idea, I would be happy to exchange ideas.
